YIPEE! It's a snow day!
That is so funny because I do have the food network on right now. Thanks for the bean tip. I won't put them into until later today. I have to tell you it smells great. I got the idea from something you posted awhile back. I don't have any tortillas but that is OK. I'll just eat it plain maybe with a sprinkle of cheese.
Hey! I love snow days too! This week was a short week because we were off Mon and Tues. too! The only downside is we'll have to make it up at the end!!!
Remember you were having problems with reflux? I feel like I'm having a slight problem with heartburn? What do you think I should do? Call Boe? It seems like I am very tight in the morning, and as t he day goes on, loosen up a bit. Not sure what to do!
Hi Marla,
I saw you are having a bit of heartburn. I get heartburn every once in a while, it's rare but it does happen. So, I keep some of the prescription water soluble Prevacid on hand. My surgeon prescribes it for me when I ask. I don't use it often, but when I need it, I use it and the heartburn goes away immediately.
You might talk to your doctor about getting some.
Good luck.
Vicki
I will set an extra place at the dinner table for you. Seriously, when I crockpot cook there is enough for an army. I end of freezing it and eating it for months! I am having a grand day so far. Enjoyed my coffee, exercised, started laundry, watching the food network and the birds outside in the snow at my bird feeder. I am such a geek!
We had plenty of snow on Long Island - at least on the north shore. Steve and I shoveled, used the snow blower and cleaned off the cars. My fingers got so frozen. I used the love snow days when I was teaching but New York City hardly ever closed. The didn't close unless their was at least 10-12 inches of the white stuff. Enjoy your day and the rest of the weekend!
