YIPEE! It's a snow day!
That right folks - no school today. It snowed last night and now we are waiting for the ice storm to arrive. I feel like Sharon - lol. So, I will be on the board all day reading and catching up, I need to run (haven't done a darn thing since Monday), I have tons of laundry and cleaning to do too. But it is lovely to sit, drink my coffee, watch GMA and just relax. I got my crockpot out this morning, threw in some chicken, fajita mix, onions, peppers and later some black bean (hope it tastes ok) should I put the black beans in now? Well, enough about me... what is on your plate for today?
I wi**** were that easy for me. I have a Dr. appt this morning downtown DC, then I have to make the hard choice of whether or not to go to work. I guess if I can make it to my Dr.s appt. I can make it to work. I would have to use my own leave anyway, so I will probably go in. It is frustrating.
Congratulations on the Snow Day!!!!!!
Yep, was right! I hope you enjoy your day, hon, and get a jump, on things you have to do! It gives you a cozy, fuzzy feeling, at first, then, gets real old fAST! haha I would hold off on the beans, until, maybe the last 1/2 hr-1 hr., and drain them, if they're canned, hon! Sure sounds good. I can smell it now! lol

Sounds like a GREAT day! I would hold off on the black beans. They might get mushy. It won't hurt to add them later, since they are already cooked. Let us know how it turns out.
I love days like that where I'm alone, and I can watch the Food network and Lifetime movies if I want to!
