Friday is our 23rd wedding Anniversary! Have you done anything special or given your husband a gift lately that they loved? I'm stumped this year. We wanted to go out of town, but it's just not going to work out this year. Help me out girls!!

Nancy, on our 5th, I set up a suite, in the best hotel, downtown, and made reservations, at their 4 star, restaurant, and they have a pool, we had our own hot tub, and so on! We didn't HAVE to go out of town! We were pampered, and the second night just ordered room service, and it was terrific! It felt, like we were WAY far away, and sadly, will probably be the last big celebration, of that kind. We will be married 16 yrs., this July, and I'll fix a good dinner!

How about going and getting a couple's massage together and then having a nice dinner out? We also stayed in a local hotel on our 5th anniversary and it was very nice. We ate out at a fancy restraunt and then went back to the hotel. We had a great hot tub and we went swimming together and it was nice to only have to drive 15 minutes to get home the next day..lol. This year is our 10th so we need to start planning something special.

For our monthiversary (yes, we celebrate each month - but it's less than two years for us), David booked us a spa package that included a steam/mud bath, a couples massage and a pedicure. It was heavenly!

I love the idea of a hotel room right in your town! I friend of mine did that and had a bottle of champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries send to the room. VERY ROMANTIC!

Does your husband listen to music? Ipod's are awesome and you can download some of (your and my) favorite publications from the net so he can listen to it at work or wherever. My husband likes lounging clothes...fluffy robe, flannel pants, warm comfortable slippers, etc. (course its cold here..lol) you could give him something like that with a candle you can light or something really sweet and yummy... and a home made coupon in a card for "his get some fun time"
