Surgery cancelled: Band stays put

Uh, yeah, it's that simple enough. The scope showed a band that is soooo unremarkable that my surgeon has cancelled the surgery. Seems like good news, but it means that my unresolved GYN issues are becoming a digestive-eating issue. OB_GYNs run from me like I have the plague. I'm going to say a little prayer and try again to find someone to address these pelvic masses that seem to be causing intestinal blockages. I would be jumping for joy, but I've spent a lot of money, had a lot of useless tests and the way I feel hasn't changed one bit -- except I have a bad cold. Because "back" is a bad place ... we go ONWARD! Frances

Wow Frances, I was sure you were going to have a definite answer today, and I am so sorry that you didn't get one. Let's hope the cold goes away fast, if you have to wait for more answers. Onward is right!

Frances, I'm sorry you haven't found an answer, but I'm happy for you that your band is not the problem....I know how you feel about that little piece of equipment... On the other hand.....only you would be able to find some little morsel of humor and look toward the positive even though you're struggling with such issues...bless your heart...and all your other parts too......I hope you have good answers very soon. Good morning Frances !! Keep searching ~ ask lots of questions ,research everybody ,every where, reach out and ask for help and referrals to everyone you talk to call, call c,all . You may even have to search nearby states .leave no stone unturned, you deserve good care and a good doctor (surgeon)who is capable and willing to help you with yourGYN issues .. a digestive eating disorder makes me think maybe you need someone who has experience in that field also or a collague willing to step in and assist in your long suffering problem.. seems like it is not going to get any better without some sort of intervention You owe this battle to yourself, your loving daughter (and possibly your future Grandkids) and your Hubby! please take the best possbile care of yourself try to stick to foods you are able to manage to stay nourished and keep up your strength,and keep on searching ((((HUG)))) When the road gets tough . the tough gets going
