Tired of eating the same old food!
Oh Mona~ boy can I relate. Same ole same ole....I try to mix things up...but certain things just agree with me so much easier, I just stick with them. Last night I made a delicious pork tenderloain with an aian sauce....it's not so much dinner I have issues with...it's bfst (which I usually don't have except for oatmeal), and lunch. Although, I have been replacing my popcorn snacks with CHOCOLATE...that's NOT good! Your not alone girl, if I have any brainstorms I will let you know! Good Luck to you!

I have that ALL THE TIME sometimes I have to get creative. I have half a dozen cookbooks plus I watch food network. I don't have a problem planning dinners but I am lost with breakfast and lunch since I don't usually do the staples like cereal and sandwiches. It's when I have these phases that I eat the most junk, in hopes of eating something exciting.

I pretty much still like eating. I have wandered around the grocery store not knowing what sounds good, so I just stick to something that is Weigh****chers and family friendly. I usually am ready to eat it when the time comes.
I have oatmeal every morning, and I love that I have the same thing. I don't have to think about it or try to make a decision. Once in a while I get on a cereal kick, but most days it's oatmeal.
You must be going through a phase. It could be worse...your appetite could be out of control!
Interesting, I guess I do eat the "same old thing" to an extent. I always start my day with a latte (or two) as you all know. Pretty much every work day, I have soup for lunch - well, if I'm in the office that is. Of course, with that, I will change up what time of soup - Italian Wedding Soup and Tortilla soup are my favorites and the calories are low so I gravitate to them.
Dinner though, is a whole different ballpark. About the only thing that I hardly ever have is bread (unless it's toasted). I also am careful with pasta, but will have it. Anything else pretty much goes.
Yesterday it was pork done on the grill, today it will be chicken done on the grill. Last week we had a hearty soup one night (I posted the recipe, I think), spaghetti another night (I have a little bit of pasta with my sauce) and I don't recall what else.
So, I guess I am in a daytime rut but not a nighttime rut.
I am in school now with no refrigeration available. So my snacks are getting very routine...a protein bar, fiber crackers, cheese, a cut up apple etc. I could take leftovers like beans that I could heat up in the microwave, but on the mad dash out the door in the mornings I neve seem to think of that. There is not enough time to leave school and get something good...so you go to the roach coach or the vending machines...I avoid both at all costs. I dont know how to change it up...dinner time is my only flexible meal...
Mona, I'm sorry you're going through this. I guess, I'm really lucky, I eat most things, but try to keep it healthy. I've changed my buying, and preparation, and whole way of eating, but still really enjoy it! I think, I have a great variety, and only have trouble with gooey bread, and apple skins! I love to cook, and have time to do it, and that makes a BIG difference! I have to cook my pasta very well, and DO use all of the LF, SF, and all of the tricks, that keep the sugar, and fat down, but not out!!~ I allow myself, REAL popcorn, 1 night a week, and eggs, for breakfast, about twice a week. Hope you find a good solution, hon!
Boy can I ever relate! I end up eating the same foods all of the time. The only deli meat I will eat is the store baked turkey breast at a local deli. I hate every other processed meat. Sometimes I think I will turn into a tuna fi****onight I'm eating orange chicken. I made a big crockpot full and we're eating it a little at a time.
