Update on my keys!

I really feel like an idiot now. Let me preface this by saying that I have been coughing and hacking for 5 days now, and not sleeping. I'm apparantly feeling the effects of it. Hubby found the spare key this morning down in the couch cushions. So we go to my office and open the car. Keys are not in there. So we search the office and I start retracing my steps. My co-worker reminded me that I took out a box of manilla files to work on. She went to the storage area, and found a 1/2 box of files with my keys in the bottom of the box. Duh, duh, duh, duh...I feel like a ding-dong!

You're just too, cute! ha Reminds me of the time, I had to call the cops, to open my car door, I got out to brush the windows off, and locked my keys in the car, and it was on! That was a long time ago, before, there were any sound effects! ha Well, glad you found them~!Hope that cough gets better, soon!

Ok blondie - now we know you dye your hair dark! I remember the time I was calling home on my cell phone, because the remote wouldn't work to unlock the car door. I was going to ask hubby to come help me get in my car. Duh the remote is part of the......KEY!

That would have been totally normal for me. I lose my keys all the time. Steve hung up hooks in the kitchen not far from the front door for me to hang my keys on - that is when I remember to hang them up.

My worse lost key story was last Sepetember, I needed to get my car fixed so I rented a car for the day. Then I had to take my daughter to a swim lesson and lost my keys to the rented car on the way out the door of my house. OMG. I looked everywhere.. Couldn't find them. The rental car place said that they would have to get a replacement key and that ended up taking three or four weeks. So the whole time this rented car was in front of my house. They didnt charge me for it though. Anyway several months later my husband found my keys in the canvas bag with the bathing suit stuff. Boy did I feel like a jerk...
