What is everyone doing for Valentine's Day?

Valentine's Day has always been one of my favorite holidays. It has always been a big day for Steve & me. Tomorrow we are going to Red Lobster with our kids. We're going to go for a late lunch or early dinner - before the crowds. Steve & I will probably share a meal. I can hardly wait! Grilled shrimp here I come! Then we are going back to Heather & John's apartment to celebrate with our furry grandson Cosmo. What are you doing tomorrow?

I'm like you about the crowds, so we will do a late lunch most likely too, and then I will take the afternoon off just to enjoy hubby's company. And after the meal I will ask hubby to go to Barnes and Noble with me, as I can wander around my all time favorite store for hours! I just want to enjoy time with my sweetie - that's what Valentines Day is for me.

Well, a friend of mine is having a pot luck and since most of us in my master's class are single, we are having a small party. It will be fun!

I offered to cook for David (it is usually the other way around). I gave him five recipes to choose from and he chose a soup recipe. It's a "good" recipe. I'll have to post it for everyone. Maybe tomorrow. Anyway, I am working at home, hopefully going to yoga (yes, I think the knee and back are both healthy enough to actually go tomorrow), cooking the soup, and having a nice quiet evening at home.

Have a lovely time. I'm looking forward to the recipe. Soup is so good in the winter time.

Nada. We don't do Valentine's day. I hate the cheesey, over-the-top stuff. We celebrate our anniversary, birthdays and other dates of significance to us. We don't bother with V-day. And my daughter has a skating competition this weekend so we'll be doing laundry and packing tonight. :D

Well, I made Valentine's cookies, for all of the grandkids, and bought each a piece of clothing,(matching shirts for Joey, and Andy), they already got their cards, and treats. will deliver the others, today, (weather, is ok, go figure) made dinner, for 3 church shut-ins, so will drop those off, Michael, surprised me, with a gold, SF chocolate rose, for my Bandiversary, and Valentine's day! Totally caught me off guard. I still can't beleive he had the presence of mind, to ask my son to pick it up, and he got the money, out of my HIDDEN, mad money! ha Rob, snuck it in here, when he got our car out of the mountain of snow! So.......today, will be busy! Everyone, enjoy!~

Oh Sharon, that is so sweet about Michael! I'm glad you have these little times to remind you of the man you married. Now you just went and made me cry - and I'm in the office!
