Wow, who ARE those people?

I only recognize a few people on the Lap Band board now. There are so many newbies there. Where did they all come from? I am grateful for this forum (thanks Lenora!). And oh by the way, Dee is on various forum with different identities. Be wary.

That is why I live this forum! I feel like I "know" most of you.

I don't know who anybody is anymore. All of these fake identities are incredible. Please, I never hope I get so nutty that I need to invent a new me.

Its certainly hard to feel connected when you dont know who anyone is. I dont think most of us have the time or feel the inclination to try and make new relationships as we are in a different phase of our journey...its just natual to stay with the group we started with. OH has just exploded to ..I remember when it was a small community. I like the population of the Island...its easy to keep track of our people. Has anyone tried out Bandsterville? I would but I just cant do another board...not enough time in the day.

I can't do another one. I tried to join, and my name was already taken so I would have to remember yet another one. So I love this island, and THANK YOU for starting this!

You do connect with people who you have things in common with. Although, when I was new to OH (not new to the Band), it was you ladies here who welcomed me. I'm glad to have met you and remained friends! I haven't checked out Ron's group. I wish him well with it, I just can't add any more groups. Never say never, but not right now. I am a Moderator on the Kuri group and we have to approve all the memberships and all the messages, which usually involves trimming them up and then posting them. Keeps me busy! If not for my laptop, I would not be on much at all, except for a few minutes a day! I am online WAY too much, but I am usually on when we are all watching TV, and I'm multi-tasking, checking out Real Estate, paying bills, checking e-mails, etc.
