I'm so ready to..........

I'm so ready to meet my baby girl! I'm having a c-section (because of some prior surgery...not band related) and it's scheduled for the 18th. I realize that is just a week from tomorrow, but that seems so far away lol. I have my weekly check up Wed. morning and my OB told me not to drink or eat anything.....just in case we need to have the baby that day. Of course if she wants to come before then I won't be mad! Don't get me wrong I've enjoyed being pregnant.......I'm just ready to hold my baby in my arms! I think I've done great with my weight gain. As of yesterday morning I'm up 21.5 pounds. I'm hoping it will be easy coming back off, so I can continue to lose the other 30 or so pounds and make it to goal in 2008! Hopefully my next post will be announcing Hannah Marie! Thoughts and prayers will be appreciated! Amy

Congrats Amy! Your weight gain is exceptional! I'll bet you have no problems taking that off. Please post a pic of that little sweetie when you can.

Congratuations on your weight loss and the new little girl on the way! It sounds like you have done an awesome job of controlling your pregnancy weight gain. Based on that, I am sure you will be very successful in taking that weight off (after all, 7 pounds or so will be gone as soon as Hannah arrives!) and continuing on to your goal. I look forward to seeing pictures of your new little prescious one!

Thanks Vicki! The ultrasound I had last week estimated she was already 7lbs and 1oz. She may be an 8 pounder! Since I have to have a c-section she can be 10 if she wants lol!

Yep I'm almost done baking her! In one way it seems like it has been forever (I was only 11 days pregnant when I found out), but it another it has flown by too fast!

It's so hard to belive that you're about to bring that new little sweetheart into the world. I'm sure it's easy for those of us not carrying her to say it seems like a long time but you've been creating a little life....and she's going to have your love and determination to guide her through this very tough thing we call life!!! You've done an awesome job and I look forward to seeing pic's of your little one!! And when you've delivered, I hope there's someone around to give you a few days off to take that much deserved REST!!!! - Ann

Thanks Ann! Hubby is planning on taking off as much as his work will let him, which will probably be 3 or 4 days....depending on how long I'm in the hospital. My mom is also going to take off the days that hubby can't....so I should have someone here to help me for the first couple of weeks. I've told myself that I'm going to sleep when Hannah does and not worry about the house work. My biggest fear about being a Mommy is dealing with the sleep deprivation. I've got a great hubby, so I'm sure he will do all he can to help with the housework (at least he better lol). Amy

I am so excited for you Amy. I wish you lived closer and I would come and visit you and Hannah. I am sure Jonah would give her lots of baby kisses..lol. I can't wait to see pictures and hear all about her. Enjoy these last few days pregnant, I PROMISE you will miss them!!!
