Chelle - are you sleeping?
Thank you. I ordered the book The Thin Commandments. You recommended it a few weeks back when someone was looking for good books to read. I had never heard of it so I went to Amazon and ordered it right away. I am taking my time reading through it. I have read chapters 1 - 3 about 10 times already but I don't feel like I am ready to move on to the 4th commandment. So, I am looking at my weight loss journey and how I need a strategy instead of a fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants plan. Commandment 1 is to have a strategy and my strategy is to start writing everything down that passes my lips - everything! I will work on commandment 2 as soon as I am more success with my strategy commandment. Anyway, thank you, as always, for being so helpful and supportive!
Yes Marcia - the pain has gone away as fast as it came. I don't know what it was but I am glad it is gone. If it comes back I promise to call the doctor. Thanks for asking.
I didn't know there was another book. When you get it and read it let me know what you think. I am really enjoying the Thin Commandments. A friend of mine is Catholic and every year she gives something up or does something to improve her life during lent. I am not Catholic but I always join her in doing something to improve myself. So, I decided to track my food again. I stopped doing it a L-O-N-G time ago and I really think it will help me get back on track. I use thedailyplate.com - it's free and I like it better than sparkpeople or fitday. Let me know what you think about the book after you get it.
I sure will let you know how the book is when they come. I just ordered it tonight so I'm sure it will be a few days. I'm glad you're feeling better.
I'm not Catholic either but tomorrow does start lent. I should give up Starbucks! I'm giving up my occassional latte. They're no sugar but too much fat..
