Thanks Marcia - as soon as I hear back from Marla I will put a call in to the doctor. HE's a great doctor and he always returns his calls - himself - not his nurse which I think is really cool.

Hope you are feeling much better now, Beth. Could it have been gas? Did you call the doctor?

I guess it could have been gas. I don't know but today it isn't there anymore... maybe I got rid of it in my sleep last night - lol. Thanks Cyndy!

I kept having pain in the same place for ages; intermittent and stabbing. I couldn't find answers online and doctors all said left sided pain is "nothing." Then Lara Nicole told me to look into "splenic flexure syndrome." Apparently gas can get stuck in the bend of the colon near the spleen (the splenic flexure) and it can really hurt! So, now when I have that pain I take some gas-x and lay on my left side (which somehow always helps me move the gas out) and nature usually takes it's course ;)

Well I am glad to know that left side pain is nothing - it must have been gas. It is not there today. It came so suddenly and left as quickly as it came. I will get some gas-x to keep in the house. Thanks for the tip!

Beth, I fell asleep early last night..glad to hear you're doing better. Here is the number for Barix, just in case you need it 267-572-3100 Glad to hear it was just gas. I get that pain when I get super hungry. It goes right to my chest and my stomach doesn't stop making noises. As soon as I eat something, I feel better!
