I went to the doc today to have my blood drawn, after all my recent anemia problems. The doctor said it could be a slow climb, and not to expect much. I had been below 9, and was 9.5 on the day of my Ablation surgery. So after 2 months not bleeding and concentrating on my vitamins, iron and eating better, my blood count was....... 12.7 Can you believe it! Normal is 12.0-16.0

Nancy! Congratulations!! I've been laying low on this board because I'm not a year out until Valentine's day but wanted to come out of lurkdom to congratulate you!! I had ablation surgery a year and a half ago and it was the SECOND best thing that I've ever done for myself!!! I have had absolutely no period since then and it is truly liberating! I wish you the same! Congrats on your labwork!!!!! Marla

Yea, Nancy B. That's wonderful. Amazing what a little female surgery will do to correct things, isn't it. Good for you. Long time, no hello, by the way. Sorry I've been off the board so long. I'm getting better though. I'll be on more from now on. Di
