Hubby wants to save his WW points for the day and have some ribs. I'm going to try to avoid the dips and chips, but might do some store bought hummus with raw veggies. Probably some popcorn too. If we don't do ribs, I thought about using Beth's meatball recipe and making them with turkey. Anyone found any good frozen turkey meatballs in a store?

Never seen frozen turkey balls in the store. You are probably going to have to just get the ground turkey and go that route. If you did it today you could freeze them..lol. Trader Joes might have something like that...(you could call before heading out)... Is turkey that much better than lean ground beef? (calorie and fat wise)

oh, you are not going to like what I have to say about lean ground turkey vs lean ground beef. for 100 gram servings (Almost 4 ozs.) turkey - 145 calories and 7 grams of fat. for the lean ground beef - 260 calories and 16 grams of fat! I know, who knew? Happened to compare them at the supermarket last fall and couldn't believe it.

I've actually had turkey meatballs from a couple of places. Trader Joe's makes them although I can't always find them there. Perdue makes them too, and I've bought them without reading the label but they have 11 or 12 gms of fat / serving so they're still sitting in my freezer. If I'm eating that much fat, I'm eating chocolate cake...not turkey!
