What's on the menu today 1/30?
Hi, Mona, thank you for doing this, and Nancy, my thanks to you, too, honey! Thank goodness, I'm home, and this nightmare, is over. It was a terrible thing!
Hope you're all doing relatively well! I don't remember a winter, with such cold temps, and this much snow! Unreal!
B: Had tea, and V-8 at home, and went to the breakfast after the funeral. Attempted about 1/2 of a western omlette, and just couldn't. Had a lot of tea!
L: 1 piece of PB2 toast, and a cup of soup
D: A little bean soup, and a handfiul of oyster crackers
S: ?
As much water, as I could get in.

Breakfast: Gourmet Whey mint chocolate chip protein coffee
Lunch: cottage cheese with splenda-sweetened strawberry preserves
Snack: Oh Yeah, chocolate peanut butter protein bar
Dinner: OMG! New Italian place in town! I had a peach bellini (after half I was a little tipsy). Hilary and I decided to get a couple of appetizers and split a small Caesar salad with entree. WE BROUGHT WELL OVER HALF OF IT HOME! We had nachos (shreds of veggies and Italian sausage on fried wonton chips with a cream sauce) and a seafood dip (shrimp, artichoke hearts, spinach in a cream sauce) with bread sticks. Our entree was penne pasta in a cream sauce with red peppers, sundried tomatoes, chicken, and shrimp. I ate a few bites of the salad and two bites of the entree. One bite of bread (a round of fresh-baked bread served with a roasted garlic-minced herbs-toasted pine nut melange in olive oil). Hil ordered tiramisu but brought it home. I'm stuffed. I ate four bites of the dip with breadsticks and several small bites of the nachos. I'm DONE!

Dinner will be what I had planned for last night (ended up going out). Grilled pork chop with green salad with grape tomatoes, cucumber, onion, blue cheese crumbles and light Italian dressing
Skinny cow ice cream later!
Today started off great and finished with a PB tonight...
Breakfast: coffee with milk, 1/2 a cheese omelet minus the potatoes and the toast - while my car was being serviced.
Lunch: 1/2 a hamburger patty, mushrooms, onions and mozzarella cheese - no bread or fries.
Dinner: I cleaned out my frig and wanted to get rid of left-over boneless ribs and vegetable chow mein. I'v already PB'd 3 times tonight. Just not a good night...
