LOL...The transition of Tonya

It's amazing how after a year with my banded, I am so much more live and let live. I just posted a reply about the whining Bandster on the DS board that basically stated that the "******g contests" between surgery are tiring. I remember when I was first banded I was quick to jump on, go for the throat and defend the band. Now I'm like...Let them go...what's good for me may not be for them. I'm officially a Vet...LOL

It just does no good to get involved in their stupid contests about whose surgery is better. they just don't get that their are all of these choices because everyone is different. They all think that only their opinion can possible be correct... I'm so glad you grew up!

I agree with every single poster above - although - I just went over there to take a look and I have to admit... it did make me a little angry. W-h-a-t-e-v-e-r! Good for you Tonya for letting it go.

I sooooooo get what you are laying down!...lol. Who cares what surgery anyone else picks? I get a little frustrated with band bashing on our own boards, but even then I dont say much anymore. I used to champion the Mexico cause, but I have lost interest in that as well. I figure if they dont educate themselves...they get what they get. Does being a vet mean you just go with the flow...man? We dont argue we just are! (picture Tommy Chong saying that last bit)

Isn't that funny? I used to get so upset by the anti-Mexican surgery posts. Now, I just don't care. Get a band somewhere...that is the important thing. And line up your aftercare. If you don't, don't come whining. Maybe my meds have kicked in...
