You folks are seriously missed

Hey Folks: I know I'm not "allowed" to post here yet I look forward to the day that I can come through the "rites of passage". I just wanted to let you know that you veterans are definitely missed on the lap band board. Without veterans like you folks, people aren't getting a long term view. I understand you want your own "home" and your own support system ~ just want you to know that many of you are missed. Krista

Hi Krista! Many of us still do post on the main board, but find the lack of drama and fighting here very peaceful. It a shame to say, but a handful of troublemakers looking to attack and provoke have caused a lot of folks to flee. Still, some go back to offer support to newbies until the crazies crawl out from under their rocks. Blessings, Ron

Hi! Krista I still post on both, but been busy last few weeks. Well, have we missed anything? Or has it been quiet? More important how are you doing? I've been busy with "jewel" my new pup. She had her picture taken with my daughters dog , my daughter , and my two sons . I will put it up on both forums when I get it. Love ya bridge

I dont have time for both boards and this one offers me the support I need. I still post when I can over there. But I post something fairly common sense like, and I get arguments and resistance. So it discourages me from trying to help as I dont have the time to refute arguments. When you reach this point in your journey you will be glad that as a vet you have a place to go. We all deserve support. I wont apologize for having a forum that meets my needs.

Disregard that last sentence of my above post....no edit button...sometimes you read things through and you dont like the sound of it.

Thanks Krista. I try to spend some time on the other board every day - schedule permitting of course. I don't often begin a thread though - usually just reply when I think I can add some valuable information. Is there something specific you are missing? Something that I can do to help on that board? if so, I will try to do so. Thanks.

Krista - what's going on over there? I try to check out and help where I can when I can. This forum just suits my needs best. If I have an issue, I don't want to scare off newbies.

Krista, I had more than enough grief, over there, last year, and prefer the calm, here! I had been on the board, almost 5 years, and was attacked repeatedly, for nothing! I don't have time for both boards, and enjoy having no stress here! I don't even lurk, there! We will welcome you with open arms!
