I'm down 6 pounds. Not fantastic, but I'll take it. DH is down 15. I still hate him. Our leader reminded me that 2 pounds a week is NORMAL, and nothing to sneeze at.
I am sticking with this, and I'm not getting discouraged. In all fairness, I have really slacked off on the exercise (okay, none), so when I got home, I grabbed my I-pod and put on my tennis shoes and headed out the door.

It's gotta be brutal to lose six when your husband losed fifteen, but look how much you've lost already! I think you're doing great. Also, you're back on track - and that's really what it's about. The fact that you grabbed your sneakers and headed out to exercise says SO much!

6 lbs is awesome! Especially since you say this is a lifestyle you can do. WW combined with the band seems to be ideal for you. What a blessing to know what works! Its not how fast you go its how long you persist that will show the results. One day at a time. I have been walking more than I ever have and I feel good. More energy and I am sleeping better. So there are multiple benefits. You are a lightweight....but are getting lighter as we speak. I am proud of you.
You've only been doing this for 2 weeks right? Either way, 6lbs is awesome!! I know about the men....years ago I went to Nutri-System and this guy and his wife would come in. Every week she'd come out with a long face, he'd be brimming from ear to ear......he lost consistently every week. I want a mans muscle mass and if metabolism has anything to do with it? I want that too!!
