Good Morning All! Well, we made it to the weekend ..... so why am I awake so early!!! Anyway, hope everyone has a great weekend....and if you're cooking something this weekend that you want to share....throw it on the post. I know we have a big football following here so it may be a good idea to add in the ' snack wave'! What kind of football food are you thinking about? Enjoy the day! I'm thinking some kind of Shrimp and Cheese snacks for the games. Going for the protien (and if you noticed - no cooking!!)

THis is also a very delicious dip.. I'm going to make it too... Oh Oh looks like back to the old salads and walking more on the treadmill ... but so worth it!.. football finals and superbowl only comes once a year this is it till Easter !Lol. Kind of like going out on a date with the man of your dreams but it all has to come to an end sooner or later I am going to try and be on my best behavior all day, lots of no calorie liquids and salad for lunch so I can save my calories for the dips! Probably by then won't hardly be able to eat much ,I'll be so hungry Ha! don't I wish~

Well, no football food, this week-end. The kids are coming for spaghetti, salad, and garlic bread, tonight, and tomorrow, no party for a change, so, Michael asked for steaks, and salad! Fine with me! The Packer game is on, at 5:30, so no fuss, no muss! Also, fine with me! ha

Beth, Glad you posted this. I was trying to remember what was in this. I remembered the grape jelly, but not the ****tail sauce. Sounds good for tomorrow, and not totally off my diet.

here's an old "family" recipe that I've been making for about 35 years......and I love it cause it's EASY!!! You can use this with either ****tail franks, cut up franks (pieces about 1 inch each) or meatballs. Heat the franks / meatballs and at the same time, in a different pot mix equal parts of black current jelly and yellow mustard; stir over low to medium heat til melted - mix frequently (not constantly) to prevent burning. When the mixture is completely melted / mixed, toss in the franks or meatballs and then transfer to a bowl or chafing dish. Serve with toothpicks.............yummmmmmmmmm Oh....who's playing???? As you can tell, I don't follow football....is that unAmerican?? Anita
