I tried it when it was only in prescription form, double the strength that it is now. This was before banding. You do have to be very careful with your fat intake, it will go right through you...literally!
When we went to the Bandster Bash last year, there was a very thin lady at our table who said she was able to lose her last 10 pounds by using it. She emphasized that she was eating well though, and had not had any trouble with it.
I am right there with you Gene.
I have been in the same 10 lbs range since October 235 to 229.5 *mostly recently the lowest* But I can't seem to lost anything else.
I have upped my exercise so much that I have done more in the last 3 weeks than I have in the last 3 MONTHs combined.
I think my body is getting smaller, I did take measurements on 1/1, but won't remeasure til 2/1.
Hang in there.. I am struggling with ya!
ps. I know nothing about Alli.. but I can mail you some coupons if you want them.
For the most part I think so. I never really understand that term though--and to think I've been at this for over 2 years. I read how many others eat 1 cup to 1.5 cups of food and are "stuffed" "full" etc. I can tell you that 1 to 1.5 cups of food is not going to make me anything but hungry. I have 4.2 in my 5.0cc band. Anymore fill and I'll have a hard time getting anything down. The throat feels retricted meaning foods go down but sometimes causing the tight feeling. However, the feeling full part really doesn't kick in as soon as I expected. The concept of feeling full when your Stoma is full, to me, is a farce. What I can say is that I have to eat very slowly so that does impede consumption. But feeling full at 1 to 1.5 cups isn't my reality.
