OT: I Declare Wednesday as Respond with Something Stupid Day!

Dang I didnt think about that! Guess I will just have to keep my mouth shut! Yes I am the bookkeeper for a applicator of Pebble Tec. I am hoping to go to this years conference but its not looking good for me! They are going to Costa Rica!

Sounds like a fun trip. Do your people go to the show in New Jersey at the end of this month? I am not going.. just curious. So you guys dont paint at all? Costa Rica sounds nice.. so where is the problem?? lol

The markey around here is really bad right now and a lot of businesses are suffering because of it. There have already been a lot of places close the doors and walk away. We are still going strong but you never know what could happen. Every year when the owner goes and takes someone to the conference with him its a major expense and with the way the economy is right now around here he doesnt know that he wants to shell out that kinda money (of course the year its my turn!) so we will see. As for NJ noone here goes that I know of. The big corp guys probably go but non of the applicators!

You could also have said something like...."I'm going to vote for you....I HAVE an ass and you ARE an ass." I'm with you...people have gotten dumber and dumber or I've finally run out of patience with stupidity....I work for a bank and a woman came in to cash a check for $1000 and she got all bent out of shape when I asked for her ID.....I was about 2 seconds away from reaching across the counter and strangling the ***** when the assistant manager saved her...........and all the while, the woman behind her was rolling her eyes and chuckling....we had a good laugh over it when it was her turn. My favorite story is when I went for my bone density scan last year, the technician asked me if I have anything metal at my waist such as a belly ring....I told her no, but that I have a lap band...at which point she said "well, you have to remove it" and I explained (I thought) that it could not be removed as it was internal....so she got very beligerent and said I had to take it off...again I explained that I could not do so as it was surgically placed and then she got really pissed off and said that she didn't care as long as I unhooked it.. I asked her if she had a knife handy (that escaped her understanding) ............at that point it must have shown up on the screen and her remark was "Hey...you've got something inside you!"......I responded....DUH... Oh well.........just when you think you've seen all the morons of the world, one more shows up. Have a great evening
