I PB'd on Crock Pot Chicken

I spent six hours cooking a big pot of orange chicken in the crock pot. I always love this recipe! I make it with boneless skinless chicken thighs. I get them in Trader Joe's. I use a big frozen orange juice - the condenced kind. The chicken is dipped in the orange juice. I add little pearl onions and fresh grated nutmeg. My whole family loves it. For some reason tonight my yummy meal made me slime like crazy and I pb'd. There went my dinner...

Marcia, Chicken can be your friend or your foe. And it can change daily! Your dinner sounds good though!

It ?s usually one of my favorite meals - very simple to cook and yummy. I'll try it again tonight and hope my band is in a better mood. Marcia

Marcia! Ya took em out of that plactic wrapper, didn't ya?? Seriously, I know if chicken is over cooked, even in a crock pot, it can get stringy and I have a hard time with it. Blessings,, Ron

I dont know if she got you the recipe but here it is! She has some wonderful stuff and I keep wanting to try this but never got around to it. Sounds like I am going to need to make it up! ORANGE-GLAZED CHICKEN 6 ounces orange juice, frozen concentrate, thawed 6 chicken breast halves 1/2 teaspoon marjoram 1 dash ground nutmeg 1 dsah garlic powder 1/4 cup water 2 tablespoons cornstarch Combine thawed orange juice concentrate in a bowl with the marjoram, garlic powder and nutmeg. Dip each chicken breast half into the orange juice to coat completely. Place in slow cooker/Crock Pot. Pour the remaining orange juice mixture over the chicken. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for about 4 hours.
