I PB'd on Crock Pot Chicken
I spent six hours cooking a big pot of orange chicken in the crock pot. I always love this recipe! I make it with boneless skinless chicken thighs. I get them in Trader Joe's. I use a big frozen orange juice - the condenced kind. The chicken is dipped in the orange juice. I add little pearl onions and fresh grated nutmeg. My whole family loves it. For some reason tonight my yummy meal made me slime like crazy and I pb'd. There went my dinner...
I dont know if she got you the recipe but here it is! She has some wonderful stuff and I keep wanting to try this but never got around to it. Sounds like I am going to need to make it up!
ORANGE-GLAZED CHICKEN
6 ounces orange juice, frozen concentrate, thawed
6 chicken breast halves
1/2 teaspoon marjoram
1 dash ground nutmeg
1 dsah garlic powder
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons cornstarch
Combine thawed orange juice concentrate in a bowl with the
marjoram, garlic powder and nutmeg.
Dip each chicken breast half into the orange juice to coat completely.
Place in slow cooker/Crock Pot. Pour the remaining orange juice
mixture over the chicken. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on
high for about 4 hours.
