Another Great Day!
I woke up this morning and . . .
* My elbows were not touching wood
* Nothing hurt very bad
* I am 180 lbs. less that I used to be
* My 10th grandchild is due any day now
* I have a good wife and a nice home
* I have a roof over my head and plenty of food on the table
* I have a job and a side business
* There are a lot of things I enjoy in life that I didn't at one time
* I have many caring bandster friends I didn;t have before
and the list goes on!
God is good and I am a blessed man! Blessings,
Ron
Dev,
I had so many health issues I was told by a cardioligist and a pulmonoligist that I probally would not live too much longer.
I had diabetes and was taking 2000 mg. of Metformin daily, I had very high blood pressure, sleep apnea, asthma, crippling arthritus, fluid retention, and ulcers. I was taking 18 different meds daily, some several times.
Today all of that is GONE, except the fluid retention, which has gotten remarkable better. The only meds I take today are Lasix for the fluid, ad supplements. I am in excellent health. Big, big difference! Give your Mom my best wishes and encourage her to go forward. If she would like to speak to me personally, I could e-Mail you my phone number. Blessings,
Ron
Thanks Ron
I'll be heading down to San Antonio Monday night and her surgery is Tuesday morning, so I'll e-mail you if she wants to chat. She does know one person that goes to her water aerobics class that had a band put in a couple months ago, but I don't think she had as many health issues. My mom has atrial fib, CHF, diabetes and hypertension. I'm hoping this gets rid of most of it!
Dev, I was 58, when I was banded, and I had diabetes, HBP, High Cholesterol, severe arthritis, and extreme trouble even walking! It was all gone, 6 months out, and I was able to have both knees, and hips replaced. That was 4 yrs ago, and I've had no problems. The only thing that remains, is my arthritis, and really has nothing to do with my weight, now! I wish her all the best!
