ahhh kids, they are just so....honest

I was letting my 5 yo (I say mine, they are my daycare kids) mix muffins to bake in mini pans in my toaster oven (grown up easybake). After they were in we had time to hang out in the kitchen, that bugger turned on me, she starts pointing, giggling and saying "you're chubby"... then the 3 yo joins in on these 2 little darlings are chanting to me... I could have ate all those muffins right in front of them! LOL So, although everone else is saying "you still look good" the truth is.... I am chubby. Now if one of these rug rats comes right out and says the FAT word there will be a 4 hr nap in their future!!! LOL

LOL omg you're so funny you have me rolling---with eating all those muffins--then they'd be thinking twice with what they say...lol You're a beautiful, kind, funny woman just keep that close to your heart and those lil rug rats are lucky to have you!

Kids are so much fun! I remember going for a long walk with a friend and her 5 year old son. When we got home we asked if he enjoyed the walk. His response was..... "Chelle has a bigger butt that Mom has!"

You're so good with those lkittle ones, I hope their parents realize, how great you are! When my son was, like, 8, a neighbor girl asked him why his Mommie was so fat, and he told her, I was a toothpick compared to HER Mom! ha Kids, are just way too, cute!

Honest they are! My daughter will sometimes want to use the word "fat" and she'll say, "mom, I'm not talking about you because you're getting skinny". She's so afraid she's going to offend me! You're such a good sport!

Oh Deb - kids just say whatever they are thinking. My own niece asked me (when she was about 4) "Aunt Beth, are you fat?" and my response, "Well, yes honey, I am." That was the end of the conversation. Just as soon as it started it was over. Kids - got to love them!

Have you seen that commercial where the woman is bending over in a red/and white robe and stoking the fire and her daughter comes down the stairs and says, "SANTA!!!!" and then the announcer says, "This is the time when you are wishing you didnt have all those holiday goodies". Its funny how kids will say something like you are fat. But they dont have any prejudice with that concept.

yeah... like big, bigger, BIGGEST... Well another child made up for all off them... he tells me he loves me all the time, yesterday he said "Deb, I love you all day"... isn't that the cutest!
