I signed up today for college. I will get a degree in paralegal studies. Classes start 1-22. School is 4 days a week 8a.m. to 12:50 p.m. with Fridays off. I tested out of a couple of classes...wohooo. Just having the decision made is a huge relief. Because we bought a business recently...the government is even going to cough up some money for my education! That was a shocker. I am very glad as the commute will be about $240.00 a month is gas. I have never gone to college...who knew at 40 I would?

18 months. I graduate 7/09. There is a very good chance I will be working for a future employer around 5/09..as it is not uncommon to do your externship and get hired.

Dang these posts can't get any more duller without putting cute little pics.. You so deperately need some cute little pics to go along with this wonderful news! Like congrats all glittery, or way to go in neon colors, what ever, but you get the picture right? That is awesome news.. It is awesome to go back to school.. I have been in and out of school since 2002 and graduated with honors from 2 schools.. and got certified in them both at 51! Well it was last year and I am now 52 going back again for Phlebotomy! So I love it.. It feels good to go back. I am a Certified Medical Assistant and A Patient Care Associate.. And soon will be a Certified Phlebotomist.. WOW! I absolutely love it! And Lenore you will too.. You have come a long way Lenore, you lost your weight, and look so pretty and skinny, and now you will be getting some education to boot, What an inspiration you carry around with you! WAY TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HUGS, CN

C.N. Your post is far from dull. Infact, it might just be the nicest post I have ever read! I am excited and nervous...I want to make Dean's list the whole time...but I have a feeling it will be harder than I think....I will keep hydrated so the little gray cells work! You have accomplished a lot my friend...talk about inspiration!

Wow! I wish I had enough gumption to do that! I would really love to be a nurse, but I think too many brain cells have died from raising 7 kids. Sometimes I feel fuzzy just trying to decide what to cook for dinner...and I certainly couldn't stand any more STRESS in my life, so, as you can see I talk myself out of it every time. lol
