The fat clothes are history.
My wife and I did another round of closet cleaning and we got rid of all but one pair each of our fat pants--for comparison sake. Funny how emotionally attached I was to some of those. In one sense, I hated them and in another they were to me what Linus' blanket is to him.
My wife also picked up a pair of pants for me at Steve & Barry's (great deals I guess). They are size 40, which is still bigger than I'd like but not the 48's I used to wear. I actually didn't mind trying them on.
Thanks, Gene. It's such a good feeling and provides a lot more closet and drawer space. I have been absolutey ruthless this morning, cleaning out clothes that no longer fit me. My car is loaded with hang up stuff to go to the consignment shop and 2 big bags for garage sale and underwear in the trash....I have been hanging onto this stuff for months and I decided, new year, new job, next size here I come!!!! You guys really motivate me.....Have a great day! Mary
WAHOO!~ That's great! Amazing how hard it is to part with them, isn't it? I had a professional job, before, I started disability, and retirement, and I had SO many expensive, beautiful clothes, it broke my heart to get rid of them!~ So, now, I have a whole closet full of NEW, small, clothes! ha Plus, more casual, for sure! Way to go, Gene!
