Hmmm - that is a tough one. I am using the same program from a few years ago and they change it every year! I think you can try it for free online for a week or something right now. They are having a special for the month of January. It really is a sensible and healthy way to eat. I don't know if you can learn everything you need to know in a week online. If you lived next to me I would share my materials with you! Move to Maryland - yeah, that's it!

Would you guys like me to put a post together of core foods? I just went to the meeting last night.
You don't count points or calories. You just eat what's on the core list. It looks to be Bandster friendly, as it is mostly lean protein and veggies. No bread or white carbs.
HOWEVER, if you want something not on the list, you still get 35 points for the week that can include any food you want.
Chelle, you could join for a week and learn what you can. They do have a free week trial. If you get the monthly pass it's $39 per month. You don't need to go to meetings.
The online tracker is excellent. You can look up any food and track your day.
Count me in on this one....I have a hard time staying focused and on track..to much going on...and then I didn't have a chance to stay up to date with everyone on line....but I think some of that is just my excuse...lol
I really need to get back on track...even though I haven't GAINED any...I certainly haven't lost any...I am going to a new support group here in MS...I hope that I can find a group here to build a close relationship...I know when I was involved in my support groups in GA that I was much more focused...When others are looking to you (as a support group leader) then it was something that was strongly on my thoughts...

This group that I am planning on meeting with is supposed to be a "new" lapband practice...that has quite a good number of new banders looking for support...some thing that I will really enjoy...I am really excited about going...
