HEY THERE EVERYONE..THANKS
Thanks for the invite...work n progress. I sure do miss you guys. I've been off the boards for quite a few months. I've been unfilled temporarily becuase of needing to be under anesthesia for a D and C. (fibroids) going next week for a re-fill (thank god) so whats been going on? I'm guessing some junk over on the other board as usual. But do tell......talk to you all soon.....(((((HUGS))))))Angie
Hi Angie: I don't think we've met but we got operated almost at the same time. I was on 11/06/2006. Glad you will be getting a fill. I would hate to lose my fills. I don't know what went on the main board mainly because I gave up on it months ago what with all the uproar about nothing most of the time and the intransigeant response. I do not have that time to lose and so far, I like to read on this board. I never seem to have anything to say however! lol - Good luck with the new fill. Huguette

Hi Angie! Welcome!
Are you having a D and C, or an Ablation? I guess if there is scraping involved it's DC. I wonder if your doc will use the Ablation tool to burn your uterus. I just had mine a month ago tomorrow and I can't recommend it enough!
Why did you need to unfill? Just curious. I didn't and was fine.
Hi Nancy,
I believe it was only a D & C. Doc is going to continue treating me with depo shots. On top of having fibroids I also had hyperplasia which is why he didnt do the ablation. I freel great, just cant wait to be re-filled....TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!thank god I get very very sick from anesthesia so my band doc thought it would be best to unfill.

I was so worried about getting sick too. I've been sick after every surgery. When the anesthes. came in I said "Do you know what a lap-band is?". (He did). I said "Well, I have one and I CANNOT vomit! Give me whatever you have to prevent it."
He laughed and put something in my IV. Whatever he did worked, because while I was nauseated and felt horrible, I didn't vomit.
Let us know how your re-fill goes.
