PET PEEVE

Does this hapen to you? Every time I sit down to eat, everyone else winds up eating off my plate! Yes...I realize that I have to eat more slowly. Yes...I realize that is "appears" I May not want the rest of my food yes...I sometimes put down my fork and talk or wait a few minutes to eat again I swear my family just sticks their forks over on my plate and take food off! They say "well, you don't want it do you?" someone is going to lose a damn finger if they don't stop! Just because I am eating slow does not mean I do not want the rest of my dinner! Just had to get that of my chest. Suggah

I am the opposite - I love when people take the food off my plate! Especially when going out to lunch with the guys at work - it really helps me. But then again, I tell them ahead of time that they can have any parts they want.

LOL - yes this happens to me a lot too. Generally I don't mind as I'm not going to eat it all anyway (especially at a restaurant) but sometimes they get carried away. We were travelling yesterday and I ordered a club sandwich, of which I would eat 1-2 quarters and the other 2 are up for grabs. DD ate 2 of them and then DH almost ate the other 2 before I managed to point out I hadn't had any yet!!! -- Kim

My plate is off limits until I tell people that I am done. I don't like everoyne's hands in my food...

This has never happened to me, but I probably wouldn't like it either.

I'm sure I have the greediest brothers on the planet. They are absolute pigs. But they know that if they touch any food on my plate, I will beat them like they stole something! Do not touch my food with your nasty fingers! When I am done, I will let you have it if I'm so inclined My latest peeve is when they stare at me while I eat waiting for me to say, I'm done. Pigs, I tell you!

Yes this happens to me when we go out to eat sometimes. It's so annoying.
