Since you all have been on this journey with me so long...

I knew you'd all appreciate this. So, first, I think I officially have a NSV to report. Like all of you, I've bought clothes that kinda fit but aren't quite there yet. Well, as I started to lose weight I would try them on. Nope, too tight. Yesterday I was trying to find something to wear and decided to try some of these items on again (mind you its been a few months). OMG! Now they're too big! I missed my chance to wear some of them! Good thing I know a few people who can really use the clothes. But I'm still really surprised. Second, not quite a SV. I have a bad sore throat so I decided to get it checked out. Went to the small urgent care clinic near my house that has one of those old balance beam scales and the nurse tried to weigh me. I told him I was well over 300 pounds. According to him (and their scale) I'm EXACTLY 300 pounds. I know that isn't true as much as I wi**** were... But I'm getting there. I'm off by about 30 pounds. Wonder what 2008 is going to bring? I am thrilled, though, to report that I've lost at least 80 pounds since this last fill actually kicked in mid-January last year. I can't complain about that loss. Hey...they say good things come to those who wait!! I've always admired your patience. I was lucky and lost quickly, but I also gain quickly, so hopefully, by waiting you'll be able to maintain!
