Plastic Surgery Consult

Hi ya, PEI'ers! I went for my 4th and final plastic surgery consultation today, and I'm ready to go! I actually picked the most comprehensive plan, but I just love the guy and have full confidence in him. He has a great reputation, is a pioneer in endoscopic plastic surgery, and does the newer laser-type lipo. I'm getting a full lower body lift, breast lift/augmentation, a little lipo, a medial thigh lift (just a small amount of tissue being removed at the top of the inner thighs with the incision at the groin, rather than the one that goes vertically down the inner thigh), and a port replacement to the low-profile port. All at the same time. Gulp. The earliest date is the end of January, but since I have to coordinate with hubby's schedule, it'll probably be sometime in February. I know this is an aggressive surgery to do all at once, but he says that I'm in such good physical condition that I should be fine. He does his surgery in a hospital rather than in clinic, and I'll spend the night. My body looks like a road map right now, with all the ink markings, but I am soooo excited. I can't wait to complete this journey! Tami

You mean from the gym? LOL. I hope not too long! I haven't worked at a "real" job for 21 years, since my son was born. Yeah, I know, I'm spoiled rotten! But, I have a small inheritance that will pay for about half of the surgery cost, and I am going to finance the rest, and pay for it myself *with* a job. I am ready to make some significant changes in my life, and just want to get the surgery out of the way before making any other commitments. I'll be sidelined for 4-6 weeks, but I can promise you that I'll be doing laps around my couch on my first day home! Tami

I have to interupt, chelle, I bought a bag of edamame and had it in the freezer.. Mike saw it and said "what's this crap?"... I joking said, it's supposed to perk you boobs up.... he said...I'm gonna kill him..."then you're gonna need a bigger bag"!! He is so gonna pay!!! LOL

Hey Kim!!! Mike is a weirdo that is still in love with veggies in a can, and I don't buy them. He was never one with quick wit, but he was with it the other night. Good to *see* you!!!

This is exciting, Tami! I'm ready to start looking for a PS, but it will be later in the year for me.
