Baby It's Cold Outside!!!

Brrrrrrr...I am sitting here freezing my azzzz off! It's 0 here with a wind chill of -19! It's only supposed to last a few days thank God! In a few days we are supposed to have a heat wave of 50+ degrees! Yeah, January thaw! After the December we've had with storm after storm after storm..at little thaw will be heavenly. Until then..I'll try to stay warm here on the island. My goal for today is to avoid all sweets. Wish me luck! I made it through the whole day yesterday...went to bed...and saw a box of chocolates I had missed when I threw everything out. It was just like I went beserk! I really don't even remember why I got up and had one, and I certainly can't tell you why I had another one after that! I need a freaking shrink!

Got ya beat, it's minus 4 here, and the wind chill, is -22!~ That northwest wind hits us head on! Thank God, we have new windows! lol Now, don't you worry about those chocolates, sweetie, it was just a bad dream! Wish I could help you with that sweet tooth, but that's ONE problem, I don't have! My downfall, is major carbs! I made Michael fried potatoes, w/onions last night, and just the smell, put me in a tailspin! I had my veggies, like a good girl! ha

I got rid of all of the sweets left over from the holidays. It all went into the garbage! I have no self-control & I would be pigging out right there with you. The only sweet thing I ate was a little piece of cantaloupe. It's freezing here too. Our wind chill is 4. That's warm compared to you but still COLD to me!

My heat went out yesterday, and it was 52 degrees on the main level this morning. Brrrrrrrr. My one little space heater didn't put a dent in it! Thank goodness the heating guy was here before noon and got us all fixed up. I'll be toasty tonight! Good luck kicking the chocolate monster out of the house. I was so proud that I was able to keep dark chocolates in the house for the past several weeks, and only eat 2 a day, but for some reason I've lost that bit of willpower, and can't seem to keep my hands out of the bag. Oh, wait a minute, it's TOM! (TOM loves chocolate.) It's weird. I can resist some treats for weeks on end, without a bit of temptation, but then once I get started, watch out. Tami
