Exercise Jan 2

A great big to those who 'shook it' on Jan 1st! Isn't it amazing to consider 'movement' exercise? Today I went to re-join my gym and it has closed down!!! I sat there in the car going OH NO! OH NO!. It was a great gym.. no lycra bunnies.. no budding Olympians...just normal, fat people trying to get fit in baggy t-shirts and track pants. So I went on the hunt for another gym. I have found one.. but its flashy and expensive. On the plus side maybe that will motivate me more! I'll have to think about it.
So with my gym being closed I dragged out my bike. It was beautiful riding along next to the ocean with a light breeze. Unfortunately that 'light breeze' turned into something resembling a gale head wind on the way back! At the 6 1/2 km mark I did consider letting a tyre down, calling my husband and telling him I had a flat!! But I didn't lol.
10km Bike Ride.
Yup
I use a bench, almost looks like a weighbench with an ab roller attached.
I do
2 cycles of 15 of my feet on the bar
2 cycles of 15 of my feet on the floor
2 cycles of 15 of my feet indian style
2 cycles of 15 of my legs straight up in the air crossed at the ankle
2 cycles of 15 of me laying on my right side fetal position
2 cycles of 15 of me laying on my left side fetal position
It only takes about 15 mins.
The ones on my side are the hardest for me.
Hey! Sharyn!
LOL at the flat tire idea! Good to see that your perservered and made it home.
Today was run day for me. I ran a 5k in about 35 minutes, or so. I also walked another mile. So in total 4 miles, 43 minutes, and 630 calories burned on the treadmill this morning. I am also taking down Christmas decorations this afternoon. I wonder how many calories that will burn.
