Frances Update: Happy New Year, Peeps!

I have very little to say other than I'm here...survived three years, three months with the band of gold. Thought I would give a shout-out and see what's up. Me -- my dread locks are almost shoulder level and there's no thinning of the hair in sight. I went very long unfilled, but got a quarter cc a few months ago. My weight hasn't changed much in a while and I'm carefully trying to gauge if I really want it to before I get skin removal. I can't imagine the loose skin sagging any more. Career -- Work is awesome. I edit a wls support newsletter for my doctor's practice and I'm enjoying my full time gig in Web PR for a university system. Weight to lose -- I'm happy at this weight for now, but would like to maybe become a toned Size 14 or 16. After months and months of being unfilled and sometimes empty, I believe the tool is still there waiting for me to want it and when my body is ready to kick it into gear, all will be swell. My New Year's advice EDAMAME -- Japanese soybeans should be crowned the perfect food. Onward! Frances

Good to see you and love the update! I have been wondering how you are doing. Chatted with Simone last night and your name came up....she told us you were doing well, but its nice to hear it from you. I think 08 will be a good year.

SO good to see you here! It sounds like you are happy, with your life, now, and that is terrific. Hope your DH, is doing well, and, the little sweetie, in pink, is, as always the light of your life! Frances... It is sooooo good to hear how you are doing...You (of course) are one of my very favorite people and I think of you often... There have been lots of changes here as well...we are now in Clinton MS....(some day I am just going to have to come down your way so we can meet...that would be so cool..) We actually moved here Dec. 30th...and I SHOULD be painting....the new house (or should I say very "old" house) needs a coat of paint....the entire inside...(we will wait for the outside till spring)...we have some good ideas...but I can see LOTS of work involved... I to have been at pretty much a stand still with my weight...but that is ok for now...I know that It will happen...My scale says I still need to lose about 40 lbs...but I really want to bet to a solid 14....
