Kimberly - I wanted to go cold turkey but I just couldn't. I have cut back.... a lot. But not everything. I had a large DD coffee with cream and sugar this morning but the rest of the day hasn't been to bad. It is TOM for me right now and I am dying for some chocolate and I am sure that before the night is over I will indulge in something including chocolate. Don't be so hard on yourself. Cut back a little everyday and eventually you will get it together again. (((HUGS)))

You are absolutely right. I am so all or nothing....I think that is what has messed me up all my life. I either have to be perfect or crazy bad..there is no gray area for me. I need to learn to stop torturing myself and learn to go slowly. Slow and steady wins the race, right?

You might be doing some special detox regiment...but I know when I want to get off sugar...I way up the protein that helps. Like an omelette with cheese and ham...etc. Protien helps stav off those cravings that can be a biotch for a couple of days.

Nah....just detox in my own mind. I feel just like I have a hangover or something. All fuzzy feeling and a wicked headache. I gave up around 5:00 and had a couple of peanut butter cups (the little ones). Really didn't make me feel any better. Hopefully tomorrow will be better...I feel like crap.

Hi Kimmie! I think we ALL go through these "phases"... I sure do.. Guilty as charged.. I think that if we can it whatever we want with out difficulty, we should "treat" ourselves.... It's healthy IMHO! You look great, ease up on yourself and give yourself a pat on the back.. HUGS, CN

Try an apple or some peanut butter. Even cheese can sometimes help. Apple and pb2 is a good alternative. Pb2 mixed with sf jelly on a rice cake is another sweet favorite. A small piece of dark chocolate May help
