Anyone else sick of the main board?

I am tired of the band bashing, the relegious feuds, and some of the personalities that have taken over and are on every thread. I am hoping more vets come and post here...as I still need support.....and am willing to give some back....lol.

I started using the block feature. Haven't felt the need until now.

Oh yeah! I'm hoping that we see an increase in vet activity here after the holidays. I know I'm not likely to be as active until after my New Year's trip to TN. I am taking 4 blessedly, gloriously, amazingly ALONE days at my parents' cottage in TN. It will be me, myself and I. Party for three! No one calling me "Mom" or "Honey." No driving anyone to the skating rink. No cooking dinner for anyone but me. No laundry. Heaven! Hopefully then I'll be back, rested, recharged and rarin' to go!

Can I borrow the cottage when you're done!! That sounds absolutely fantastic!!

I hope it is going to be as fantastic as it sounds. I'm also not taking my computer with me, so I'll have just my cell phone, books, healthy foods, my "Sex in the City" DVD collection, my dog and Cosmo mix! LOL

Enjoy your TN vacation! I know I will need the motivation in the new year....so hopefully we all come back!

This is precisely why I haven't been very active at all. There is not much support and there is so much personality, religion, choice of behavior bashing it really hurts my heart. We are all in this together, and yet, some think it is wise to dice up others. I just see it as cruel!

Well, it seems, that when we get rid of SOME troublemakers, there are always new ones! ha I' ve seen a LOT come and go, in almost 5 yrs., here, and nothing has been as bad, as last year! ha I don't even want to guess who, is who, anymore, and I know some aren't who they say they are! I still have more ppl, to contact about this board, when things slow down, some! I overate, some, and had a wonderful Christmas, and hope the rest of you did, too, no matter what you call it! Our snow is melting beautifully, here, thank goodness, and the sun is out! Grealy improved weather, but another storm coming Fri. they say! Oh, well, it's winter, in Wi.!~ ENJOY!~

Some of them are the same as the old ones, under a new name. What's that word again? TROLL?
