Just want to put out a Happy New Year to all of my PA peeps. May 2013 be a year full of good and healthy choices for all of us. I pray that when we have a slip we might be able to reach out to someone or post something on line. Remember we are all in this together. I am grateful to each and every one of you for being a part of my life for the past 3+ years. Relish the changes that have come about due to WLS. No matter if we have regain or not the majority of us are in a much better place than we would be if we had not had our surgery. Love you guys - take care.

I know that the weight loss clinic in Harrisburg does revisions I believe and I think the cost was about 9,000 if your insurance doesn't cover it .
I just had to have my pouch made smaller again, and Dr.Dimarco from there did it. My insurance covered it though . I so know how you feel although my surgery worked i lost 200lbs in a yr but then gained about 135 back this last year after developing a hernia and an extra pouch.
hope that helps, good luck
Hi Donna,
I have seen her post to Facebook, so far as I know, all is well in her world. . .perhaps she will pop in to visit us here on OH soon. . .
Be well and have a wonderful weekend.

I am not a Facebook person so it is possible that Lynn is in touch with people there. Just wondering how she is doing and hoping that all is okay in her world. I think that her husband was going to retire and move down to Florida with her. Anyhow I thought that I would just put this out there.

Thanks, Laureen.
I'm sorry to hear that you are dealing with a lot of pain too. It does wear a body out! And we worked so hard so that we could deliver ourselves from it...I know we aren't promised fairness, but this seems so wrong sometimes!
I was told my surgeon would be back on Friday, but to the ER for a variety of symptoms. It's hard to know when to go sometimes. But, ever since I had the blood clot in my lung that I very nearly didn't go to the ER for, I am alert. That doc did put me off some, but not enough to risk my life if I really feel I'd be doing so.
Thanks again...
Lisa
Thanks. I am lucky. I have never had a reaction and Rey have no idea why I did this time. It could have been very bad. I look forward to seeing the allergist and figuring out what went wrong. Happy new year!

Sara,
So sorry to hear about your reaction. I know that you have had surgery before and obviously this had never happened. Thank God you didn't have any long lasting effects from the reaction. Hope that you get some results when you see the allergist in January. Best wishes for a blessed and peaceful New Year. Take care.
Donna
Lisa,
Glad you did not let the condescending ER doc make you give up on finding what the cause of the pain is and I'm sorry that your health continues to be a challenge and like the others before me, I have no info to share. . . maybe the main forum would be a place to go, though you might get more than you bargained for ;). . .
I pray you get a resolution that works towards your return to health and hope that your pain can be managed in such a way as to not be a constant source of annoyance and more. . . I suffer from lots of aches and pains these days, so I get it to a lesser degree, because I do have an occasional day without the kind that makes me feel worn down, which is what pain does.
So sending prayers your way and when you find out what is going on, please return and let us know, so that if anyone else has this down the line, one of us can pass along what you experienced.
Hope 2013 is a better year!

Donna,
The only negative this year was that the snow and rain got my splint on my foot wet, because I haven't mastered using crutches entirely. I'm having a wonderful Christmas so far.
