Good Morning PA,
I just had to share how much fun this weekend has been. As most of you know, I now live in Michigan, within walking distance of my daughter and grandchildren. This week is my youngest grandson's first birthday. He actually turns 1 on May 3rd, but the party is today.
Last night was my granddaughter's dance recital. My sister, son, and daughter-in-law, flew in from PA and New York for the big events. It's been a wonderful weekend so far. I'm so blessed.
So, today, I'm getting ready to walk my Utley, and then get ready for the party. My sister and I are making a pan of baked beans, and a Caprese salad. My daughter is expecting 16 children, and their parents, and other friends and relatives. She has planned the party based on the children's book, "The Very Hungry Caterpillar." It should be fun.
Must scoot.

Best of luck! I remember going to a pre-op support group meeting and asking the facilitator what the most difficult part of the journey was.
She said, "The part you are doing right now." And indeed, pre-op is a challenge! Just hang in there and know that every day is one day closer!
Donna, I am so happy for you!
The secretarial position is the "heartbeat" of a school, as you know. You will be a tremendous asset and the absolute front line person for all who enter the doors.
You have been tremendously paitent and faithful through the last couple of years, and I couldn't be more delighted at your good fortune. Let's hope for a July start date so you can have everything in order for the beginning of the school year!
Trish, I hadn't put two and two together that you will be able to continue at Barix in Michigan! Good for you!
Thanks Laureen and Lisa!
When I posted yesterday it almost seemed surreal. This morning I am adjusting to the fact that soon I will be among the gainfully employed. Part of me was afraid that if I shared the news with others that it would go away - just being a little superstitious. Trying very hard to stay in the moment and not jump ahead. Also have to get back on the wagon with writing down my food. Have a good day!

I am so very happy for you Donna!!! I can't think of anything better right now!!! Way to go!!!!!!!!
Trish,
That's great about living close enough that you can go to a Barix Clinic for follow-up, truly they are wonderful. . . and you definitely sound like life there agrees with you. . . so happy for you!!!
