I am really dragging this morning. We went to Dee's spring concert last night and we left before the end of the concert because it was WAY too long. Not to sound conceded but my students can play circles around what I heard last night. Even the so called "advanced" students sounded like beginners. The band was not playing together and the tuning was off, torturous to me! The part that Dee was in was cute and what was expected for third grade.
Today I have school, then detention for a couple of students who decided to disrespect me. Then flying out the door to take the girls to the LAST Wednesday Hebrew school for the school year!! I need to pick up a couple of teacher gifts. I was hoping to pick up one for her teacher since she won't be there on Sunday for the last day. Oh well, I will bring them on Sunday.
Lisa, hugs to you and know that I am thinking about you!
My Dad is doing better and may be released on Friday! Thank you for all of your positive thoughts and prayers.
Love, Beth

Ida - I am so happy that your colleagues value you and your accomplishments so much. It must be a nice work environment.
Kathy - I am so glad that you are already reaping all the benefits of Florida. Enjoy! You so deserve it!
Today - I am at school - or as I lovingy like to call it - PARADISE! After school I am going to run. Then tonight Larry and I are spending time with FB Hubby and wife.
That is all for me - Happy Wednesday all!

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen

Ida, I am going to look into that and see if there is someone around here who can help.
Thanks for the advice.
Congrats on your perserverance and I think it is very natural for us to struggle with the things you spoke of from time to time, the most important part is to never get so far from what we know works as to give up, because as I've learned well, the tool works, so long as I work with the tool. . .
Again, congrats!!!

We had storms in the area last night as well - I thought they were 'big' but am told that these were nothing compared to what we can get. We have sun tunnels in the main area of the house and when the lightening comes through them it's really wild. Poor dog was in his thundershirt most of the night because of the noise.
Since coming down here I've lost 12 pounds! I'm thrilled with that and am hoping to continue losing - I'm much more active because I have the time to be more active - I'm not cooking as much or eating as much, and definitely not 'grazing' like I was doing at work, so it's all adding up - I get up every morning and take a nice walk with the dog - haven't had a chance to get on my bike yet but that will come. Haven't been to our pool yet either - like I said, life has been a little crazy since getting here.
I miss you all - Lisa, I'm so sorry for all of the things you're dealing with with your daughter - I hope she gets the help she needs and please don't beat yourself up - I know you're a good mother - sending prayers your way. Ida, so happy for you and your graduation and the celebration from your co-workers -that's awesome!! I hate to ask but how is the house coming?
I'll check in from time to time...hope everyone else is doing well.
Kathy
