Selena,

It is indeed normal to have stalls, please remember that the scale does not always show loss when there is some going on, one of the reasons people suggest taking measurements, but no matter, if you are doing your part, your tool will work as it is meant too. . .  things to look at are:  are you eating the same things all the time?  variety helps, as does changing the times you eat various things (ie, eat breakfast like for dinner and vice versa)  Your activity level?  is it the same, or are you adding or changing things up. . .  our bodies are marvelous and once they figure things out, they fight what we are doing, so changing things up is a key to ongoing successing. . .

You are doing great, judging from what I saw when I saw you. . .

Hugs, Laureen

Happy Monday everyone! I had an extremely busy weekend and am thoroughly exhausted as a result, but oh well, life goes on. . .

B: one egg, bison and bean type of corned beef with multigrain tortilla (leftovers from yesterday's breakfast)

S: Thomas' W/W light muffin with melted pepperjack

L: Thomas' W/W light muffin with chopped liver

S: Strawberry yougurt with kashi sprinkles

D: Ceasar salad, 3 ouces of steak, a little piece of whole wheat bread and I picked at my no butter, no cinnamon sugar added sweet potato

S: Skinny Cow Chocolate Truffle bar. . .

That is my plan for today and the exercise component of my day was accomplished before I got to work. . .

 Good Morning Steffi and PA,
Boy, do I remember the end of the year countdown.  I used to make a paperchain, with each link representing a day left in the school year, and drape it across the top of the board.  I think I started it after Spring Break.  The kids all knew what it was.  Right before dismissal each day, I'd let one student rip off a link.  The kids, and I loved watching it get shorter.  The last day of school, we would celebrate tearing the last one off the board.  Hang in there.

Today has me heading to the lab to check my INR, for my Coumadin level in my blood.  Since Easter, it has been wacky.  I also have to go to the bank to empty a can of change.  My bank, TD Bank, lets people with accounts use the machine free.  One time, I had $152 in the can.  Today, it is not full, so I don't expect that much this time.

I hope everyone has a blessed day.

Hugs,
Trish

I have one on my left arm.    I had that one for years.

I am awaiting until I lose my extra weight to get the tattoos of my dream...  A Grinch tattoo on my left shoulder blade and one on my right leg....

 Hi Selena,
Yes, you are totally normal.  Making sure you are meeting your protein and water goals, and changing up your exercise program are the suggestions I have for a stall.

You'll get back to your weight loss.  Oh, you should still be losing inches.  Your clothes should still be getting looser.

Hugs,
Trish

 Hi Lynn,
I am right there with you on needing to pick up the exercise.  I've been putting it off because of the shoulder pain from my fall in December.  It's been mild lately, so I need to get to the gym now.

Your exercise plan sounds excellent.   Keep us posted.,

Hugs,
Trish

Lynn;

I have two.  No regrets.  One is visible when I wear dresses, skirts, etc.  It is on my ankle, that one was painful, no muscle there to absorbe, although by the end didn't feel a thing.

The other one is on my back left shoulder.  that is visible if I wear a see through shirt, or a tank top when riding.   That one didn't hurt as bad.

I've wanted a tat since I was a teen.  I decided at that time not to get one.  In my 30's still wanted a tat, so figured it was time.

Yes, absolutely would do it again, if I found the right one.

Topic: Stall...
Good morning!

I know from reading other posts that this is probably totally normal, but just wanted to put it out there and make sure.... My weight loss has been stuck for almost a month now, so I guess I am experiencing my first major stall.  It's the first big one in five months, so I can't complain at all, but just wanted to double check to be sure that this is normal and that the weight loss will continue at some point...  Is there anything I can do to help it along? Thanks everyone for reading and I appreciate any encouragement and positive responses:).

Hugs everyone,
Selena
