If you can, try an ace bandage for extra support and don't wear flat shoes, a little bit of a heel, say 2 inches should help. . .  what my podiatrist told me when I had the issue. . .  hope you have a good day!!!

As Lisa said yesterday in her post to roll call, she want's to take a more positive tack and I think ultimately that is where we all want to be. . .

5 years ago when I began this journey towards healthier living, it was to me going to effect a more positive lifestyle, one that due to being weighed down, literally and figuratively, I was not living fully. I choose this lifepath as a way to further a path I had begun 20 years earlier when I began recovering from my other addictions, for anyone unfamiliar with the 12 Step Programs, AA being the Mother fellowship, the whole philosphy behind AA is about changing our attitudes towards daily living, one step at a time, recognizing that how we lived did not work for us, being willing to take stock of those things we did prior to getting "sober", taking stock and responsibility for my actions, and being willing to continuously work towards effecting a personality change in ourselves and what that means to me, is who I was did not work very well within society, so I need to cultivate what gifts I possess, so that I can share them with others and hopefully become a purposeful member of society. This has been a very positive lifestyle for me and so it enabled me to realize that facing the challenges that made me become obese were not going to be easy, but that it could be done a day at a time and that I need to change my perspectives and look for the positive in each situation. It is a learned thing that over time becomes 2nd nature, if I stay connected to other positive people, because for me, to not do that, I ultimately slip back to the person I used to be.

So tell me some positives that are working in your life today? Or some you hope that you can incorporate?

Have a wonderful day, remember, very often it is a choice!

Hugs, Laureen

Good Morning Laureen and PA,

I am up super early because today is 'Fun and Fitness Day' at school - what used to be known as field day when I was in school.  I have to leave here in a few minutes to go help my friend (who is the PE teacher) set up the field.

B:  skim plus and carnation instant breakfast
L:  turkey and cheese roll up, a few grapes and french vanilla yogurt
D:  grilled chicken and grilled asparagus

vitamin:  done
water: at least 100 ounces
exercise:  I will be on my feet all day walking around and I am hoping my foot holds up

Have a great day!

You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!

4+ years post-op and mid-week and a day off from the gym, much needed after rain interrupted sleep two nights in a row, so this is my food plan for today. . .

B:  Apple Ricotta Pancakes and turkey bacon

S:  Piece of l/f cheddar with some strawberries or peach

L:  Going to lunch with a friend, so not sure, will come back to post later what I had

S:  Yogurt and strawberries or banana

D:  Meeting a friend after work, unsure, again will come back to post later

S:  Fruit more than likely if I have one

Trying to step up the fruit part of things, as I am having issues with evacuation, if you get my drift. . .

Make more choices that are beneficial and you will benefit.  Have a good day!!!

Wow. Haven't been on this site in a long time- intentionally. I myself was bullied by a person just because they decided they didn't like me. And you know who you are. This type of bullying goes on by who all the self righteous individuals consider their peers. Unreal that Susan b can express such negativity and quite frankly treat others like **** Really this board has become childish and nothing I care to be a part of. But consider who the real, original bullies are. There was negativity long before Steffi. Sorry to have succeeded on the way toy goals. Apparently that is an issue for many of you. I won't apologize or even offer advice or support because, quite frankly, as long as insincere people like them are here this means nothing to me. Way beyond my goal and doing great. Largely because I backed away from this board and the "mean girls" who attempted to bring me down. Best of luck to all of you. Hopefully you will realize this is not a social forum but a wls support board. Hope some of you eventually can accomplish your wls goals. Too bad you don't bother looking to those who have done that and maintained. People like the bully I mentioned earlier will do nothing but try to feed you lies about others to make yourself look good. Is that what you really want or do you actually want success on this wls journey?

I have a strawberry on my upper butt and three stars to represent my sisters and me on my left foot. Both hurt a little...foot way more.  They are places that I can completely cover or I can show my foot.

Love you and I am so happy to hear that they targeted the neurontin. I had not heard that side effect from it but meds can be so weird with children. i am just glad you have your kid back, Thank God.

Good luck with your MRI
