Hi Beth and PA

Took my Reiki 2 class yesterday I enjoyed it because we were given two more Reiki symbols that are for emotional healing and for sending Reiki over distance to others. It was nice to be with healthy , positive like minded people. I will probably go on and get my Reiki 3 but I need to practice alot first. Nice day came home pretty tired though it is a quite exhausting process.
Today I am working and trying to do some cooking for the week as well. Jason and I are trying to work a nutritional program that includes more High Nutrient dense foods. We both have libbys we want to lose. Other than that and signing some paperwork for a refinance not a whole lot is going on, but that is fine with me. Enjoy your me time Beth and Laureen hang in there.
The rest of you wishes for peace, and manifistation of your desires

Hi Beth, PA Friends,

Glad to hear you are having some ME time, even if some of it involves things you'd rather not have to do (lol)!  Hope Dee enjoys her camp experience.

Well today is a work day and this week promises to be a bear, we have a first day hearing for a case filed on last week and then lots of other things going on, so the week should go by in a blur and then Thursday night I leave for Florida where I will spend my birthday with my daughters and my oldest two grandchildren!  Cannot believe we are in the last week of June, time is moving way too swiftly, but all is well at the moment and I will rejoice in that fact.

Anyway, hoping each and everyone of you has a wonderful day and for anyone having serious life challenges, I wish you peace and strength and good friends/family to help you through it!

Donna,

Congratulations on your surgiversary! You have much to be proud of, you worked hard and then life slam dunked you and you did what those of us who for so long used food as a crutch, do! The main difference is you NEVER gave up, you may have slipped, but then you reached out, shared your struggles with others and recommited to working your tool in the manner it was meant to be used and so I've no doubt you will successfully lose weight. As dear Shauna once said, we are "successing" which means, when we struggle, it is not that we haven't succeeded, it's that we're not done and that successing is an ongoing journey. Detours are often tools to aid us in finding new ways to get to the same place.

As someone, who is very outspoken about my own journey, which is one of struggles because there are times I just don't do all that I need to, I know how you feel about your regain, but I can tell you, as you stated, and others too, I am losing again, and I am losing because I am not doing what I did so often in the past, I am not throwing up my arms and saying, eff it, it's useless and I'm not worth it, instead I am saying, I can do this, others have done it and I am making more of the right choices today then I was for a while, this journey is one that we can redirect the course anytime we choose and you, like me, have chosen to redirect in a more positive fashion!!!

I wish you successing on this and all your endeavors!

Love, Laureen

B: 1.5 multigrain blueberry/blackberry pancakes leftover from yesterday, one egg and a turkey sausage patty

S: blue berries and strawberries

L: Leftover veletized Korean bbq from Pei Wei's w/a couple of tablespoons of brown rice

S: klondike slim bar

Vitamins, calcium supplements and lots of water. Hope wherever you are on this WLS journey, you are living your dreams and making choices that honor your commitment to change

Lauren,

About now you are undergoing your surgery and when you wake up you will be an official member of the Losers Bench, a bench where there is always room for one more for the obvious reasons ;)

Best wishes on a smooth transition to your new post-op life, continue to be compliant in the manner you were pre-op and you will do phenomenal!!!

See you mid-July, as I am on vacation and won't be at July's 1st Saturday meeting, but I look forward to hearing about your progress on OH.

GM PA!!

I am up bright and early to take Dee to camp, she is SO excited!! It is a gymnastics camp right up the street from where we live. Close by and not expensive! While she is in camp I have an appointment to get my yearly mammogram(oh joy) then I go to see my hemotologist. I have other errands to run and hoping to get a pedicure while I am out! AHHH, ME TIME!! Haven't had that in several weeks!?!?!

When I get home I will deal with laundry and hopefully get some relaxation in before I need to go pick her up! Tomorrow I start orientation for my summer job....

What are you up to today??

Thinking about Lauren E today as she has her surgery today!! Cheers to her new life!

From what I understand it has to be medically necessary. This usually requires more then a rash. Infections, etc and they must be well documented.

Good luck and congratulations.
