Gene and I have always used this type of thing for our own filtered water.  We never purchase bottled.  Way I see it I have no idea what spigot they got the water out of.  I'd rather take my chances with my fridge filtered water and my Brita bottled water....Glad you have also discovered this!!!

 There are so many!

The first time I pulled a pair of jeans up past my knees.

Many shopping moments like you described - actually feeling afraid that a sales person might come up and ask me why on earth I was shopping in the "normal" sizes.

When I tell new acquaintances that I have lost quite a bit of weight, they react with disbelief. What? I don't look like a "formerly fat" person?

Realizing that my shoes are too big.

Having TSA comment when they look at my drivers license picture - this has happened more than once!

I had no idea you could get them at that price!  Definitely worth the trip!

I feel like sharing and reading cheery memories today!

One of my favorite memories is of walking into a favorite clothing store and looking at the plus sizes.  The saleswoman was looking at me oddly, I thought, and she eventually came over to me.

She asked, "Can I help you?"

I told her I was just looking for a new top or two.

She said, "For yourself?"

"Yes," I said.

She explained that this was the plus size dept and I should be looking upstairs at the "normal" sizes.  I looked at her like she was out of her mind.

She said, "Honey, this stuff is too big for me and you're a lot smaller than I am!"

Wow...really?  Maybe I needed a new mirror...or maybe just a new way of looking at it.

Tentatively, I climbed the escalator to the "normal" sizes.  Again, I caught a saleswoman watching me.  I was really embarrassed, figuring she was probably wondering what this fat woman was doing upstairs...finally she spoke.

Pointing, she said, "The petite sizes are over here."

Again...wow...I was floating!  I want to feel that again and I am determined, pain and illness be damned!

Anyone else want to share a favorite moment, memory, highlight, "wow" with us?

Thanks, I'll be looking for that one, especially for the traveling, as it irks me to no end having to spend almost $3 for water at an airport. . .

This weekend Mike got me a Brita water bottle.

It has a little Brita filter inside so wherever you fill it, the water tastes good. The filter lasts for 2 months - so you save on bottled water for sure.

Holds 20 oz. so easy to calculate as part of your total. (The half liters drive me nuts trying to calculate).

Best part - take it thru security at an airport empty, and fill it at a drinking fountain. Save $2.69 per bottle of water for travel!

He got it at WalMart for about $8.

Absolutely not in the mood to eat much today.

B - 1 egg white, 2 strips well drained bacon.

S - protein bar

L - probably a shake or even just some skim milk. Maybe a banana.

After that, we'll see.

Vitamins - check.
Fluids - check.

I have used the AMP protein. I use one scoop...at one time, their nutrition label had stats for 2 scoops, so watch for that. I mixed with skim milk but you can also add a little water if it gets too thick for your taste. It is less sweet than many.
