Wow, August is about half way over!!!! Where has this year gone?
Great weekend. The Devers 55th family reunion on Saturday in Minersville, PA. Great day seeing family as well as sentimental value for Gene and I - Gene proposed to me at his family reunion in 2003.
Traveling for all that time takes a toll so yesterday after church was pretty laid back.

I run at this park twice a week. I am a physical training instructor with the Temple U police and ranger academy and I bring the recruits to the park for PT. We are there at 7:45 AM - 9:30 AM. If you see us there please introduce yourself.

If you have never had therapy to help you process that abusive marriage, it might be a good idea, especially since you are having them related to upcoming weight loss surgery. We go through a myriad of changes, physically, hormonally, emotionally, as we lose the weight. Therapy helps tremendously.

Busy, Busy, Busy week....
Tuesday was out of the office at a Medicare Training conference in Center city with a co-worker that was fun. When we left the conference we walked around CC - stopped at a shoe store "Head Start Shoes" @ 17th and Sansom - OMG shoe porn!!!!! I have not held or fondled shoes of that quality since my mom and I used to do all our shoe shopping in Philly and NYC when I was a kid. Of course I now understand the value of money so didn't purchase anything, fondling them was amazing!!!!
Then went to Macy's to look and see if I found anything that I liked for my daughters upcoming wedding - so far nothing has jumped out at me...
The rest of this week has been meetings phone calls, queries, designing queries and trainings....
The house is the house - someday our house will be done...

I am late posting, as usual. I went to my AA meeting this morning. Then, this afternoon I had my volunteer work, where I got some training. Now, to stay home and not freeze with my air conditioning on because of my asthma. I can't breath outside at all.
Tonight, I will either watch the Phillies and DVR the Olympics, or vice versa. Depends on what's showing on the Olympics.

What a busy week considering Caleb is away on a high adventure canoeing expedition in Canada with the Boy Scouts. I wiss his a lot. He comes home on Sunday :)
I was able to do some light exercise beginning last weekend, but I spit an internal stitch and the incision ripped open, so I am back to taking it easy again...bummer. I am healing pretty well though and I am quite pleased with the plastics outcome. Money well spent. Tonight I may be doing dinner with my best friend if her schedule permits it. Then I will be resting & healing some more.

Yup, stormy weather forecast, but hopefully it will take the humidity with it and give us a mostly nice weekend, I can hope can't I?
At work, we were told we could wear jeans to work today and so I took it a step further and wore my capri jeans, I'm a rebel at heart and too hot to wear jeans (lol). . . after work, depending on the weather I will attend a women's AA meeting and hang with some friends from there. . .beginnings of a 3-day weekend for me starting at 4 pm today. Plans include visiting with my oldest, dearest friend who is moving to Florida in the next week, I really am feeling more and more pulled in that direction, as my daughters live there and more and more people I know are heading there. . . time and God will lead me where I need to go. Anyway, Tony is coming down on Sunday and I'm thinking Monday will be a good day to start the clean out process of stuff in my basement that has become garbage. . .

It is Friday and I am up bright and early!! I have to go to the store to pick up some things for dinner tonight. One of our friends that we haven't seen in awhile is coming over. She just got laid off and broke up with her boyfriend.
I have a busy weekend in store! Tomorrow Dee has a birthday party to go to, OH JOY! I would just drop her off and come back but I don't know these people and in this day and age you have to be extra cautious. So, I will sit with people that I don't know while my kid has fun with her friend. Oh, what we do for our kids!! Sunday will be MORE fun since we will be getting together with friends and spending the day with them.
It is supposed to be stormy today....be safe!!

Sorry this is so late. I had my AA meeting this morning and was only home for about an hour before I had to go to my volunteer work. Then, I came home and watched some of the Olympics. I finally got on the PA forum.
I hope your day was okay. Let us know what the vet says.
