Good Morning PA!
Up early and already took Dee to camp! Now, eating my breakfast and posting.
I have a lot on my mind, including my Mom. She is still in the hospital and they still do not know what is going on with her hand. It is frustrating to feel so helpless especially when the professionals don't know what is wrong?!?! It has been psychologically difficult for me. I remember my mom vibrant and full of energy, now she is just a shell. I am praying that she is not in too much pain...Kind of glad that she doesn't know what is going on! She wouldn't want to be a burden on anyone.
Today I am going to do house stuff, laundry and such. I have two cats sitting next to me right now. I think they know I am troubled...

Had it done yesterday.
They gave me percocet for the pain... I wanted my knee fixed before I go for my gastric. I need working knees to walk and stuff. Speaking of pain meds, they have kicked in I'm going back to bed....

I saw this on HLN news a while back, soon as they take the tube out and start eating again, they will gain the weight back....

I did not see this, but I do recall hearing about this several years ago and I do believe it started with some Hollywood celebrities. . . the lengths some will go through, but then again, I guess we choose our own drastic measures. . . but that is truly extreme and I remember years back going on Medifast, by the 2nd week, I just could not live without chewing on some food. . . lol

Just when you thought we were considered "the drastic people"! They have a procedure called the tube feeding diet. Seriously! A tube is inserted in your nose and you drink this stuff have to carry a pump and sleep with it you lose weight ugh literally walk around life as usual with a tube sticking out of your nose and carry the pump which has your liquid in it. Eww . What does anyone think of this one? They say its painless to insert anesthesia then the tube goes in your one nostril. And these people just go about their daily lives .

My eyebrows were mostly gone between low iron n thyroid, I tried biotin nt work, made more hair on my face tried powders only problem with that is, when u wipe ur brow it comes off, so I had my eyebrows permenately tattooed on,they r really nice, I have gotten several compliments on them

I use 3,000 mg of biotin per day, 1,000 mg 3 times per day. My eyebrows are really thin, no matter how much protein I up, nothing seems to work other than the biotin that I've been taking. My eyebrows have not grow back to what they were, at least they are there and I can dress them up when I put on make up. one eyebrow continues to remain thinner than the other so it's a challenge.
