Topic: Wednesday Roll Call
Good Morning PA!
The days are flying by and my summer is coming to an end! We have a fun weekend ahead so that is good!!
Today I am taking Dee to the dentist, she has a loose tooth that just doesn't want to come out. It is right in front of an adult tooth so I want to get it taken care of ASAP!! I have a couple of errands to do afterward, then it will be home to do some work with Dee to get her back into school mode. I want to do some reading, math, spelling and such. I will also do some things in the house, laundry, cat boxes, etc...
I got a haircut last night and it looks pretty good! It is quite a bit shorter than it was before, but my hair looks much healthier. After all the hair was cut off, all I had left was my natural hair color. Steven thought I got my hair colored. When I told him this was my natural color he liked it!! It was much easier to style this morning too!!!

surgeon just called, they moved my surgery date to Oct 10. She sent message to the surgeon who did my knee surgery and he advised her to wait 8 wks before doing surgery. I hate delays....

Topic: Six Year Surgiversary
Hi PA,
I just remembered that today is my six year surgiversary. Six years ago this afternoon, I walked into Barix and had one of the most life changing experiences in my life.
I do not regret it one bit. I needed hernia surgery a little more than a year later, and now have iron and B12 deficiency. Yet, I'll take them over being prediabetic, needing cholesterol medication, having the constant arthritic pain, wearing size 28 clothes, and needing a seat belt extender on planes.
I am happy with the weight I am at now, but would like to reach goal. I had a 45 pound regain due to a relapse, but have since lost 30 of that.
Which reminds me that I need to call Barix and schedule my annual appointment with Dr. Marymor.
I am so grateful that he did this surgery. He is an excellent surgeon, and even an excellent person. I know he lurks here, because whenever I post anything serious, like my hospitalization in January, he gives me a call at home to check on me. He has the best bedside manner of all my doctors. So, if anyone is lurking that is considering weight loss surgery, I recommend Barix and highly recommend Dr. Neil Marymor.

Sorry I'm late again. My mornings are going so well this week. I think I need a series of iron infusions again. I had bloodwork done yesterday to find out.
This afternoon, I did my volunteer work at the agency again. I'm there every day during the week, only in the afternoon. I love it there. I am going to start using their Wifi tomorrow, because I find their desktop way too slow, much less their Internet. At least my laptop is faster.

Glad to hear you and Siehara are enjoying your Tae Kwon Do!
Can't seem to be able to get up early enough to post in the AM lately.
This morning, not sure what happened thought I was going to have to come home from work. Ended up in the bathroom for at least a half hour - could not move, just sat there with my eyes closed till whatever was going on passed. Started after I had my usual oatmeal with raisins. Maybe the raisins didn't agree this morning....
Had some training this morning. Getting ready to start a new role in my department, not done negotiating the final details. My AVP comes back one day before I go on vacation so not expecting much of anything to happen until I get back to work after my vacation.
The wedding is coming quickly. This weekend is the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. I'm cooking the dinner and taking to my daughters where the rehearsal will be taking place. Still need to get my shoes, looks like I'll be shopping by myself. Gene is so busy preparing for his doctoral class that begins next week, he's still putting his syllabus together. I always tell him he is the king of procastination :-)

Well, yesterday was kind of a bust. Went to the township building and the lady that I needed to talk to was on vacation, of course, and won't be bac****il Friday. Then my friend and I went with Dee to get her bloodwork done, found out that it needed to be fasting?!?! So, couldn't get that done! Spent the afternoon with my BFF, had lunch, walked around the mall, then came home, made dinner and was watching coverage of the RNC....don't get me started on politics!!!
Today we are going to be up and out early, we are driving to NJ to meet my Dad at his drs appointment at 10am. It takes about an hour to get there without traffic so I will be leaving here in abot 45 minutes. Need to stop off for gas... Then after that we are meeting with one of my friends/coworkers and her daughter for lunch. Her daughter is the same age as Dee and they have known each other since they were about 5. Dee doesn't know, all she knows is that I have a surprise for her!! Then I have an appointment for a haircut, I am really considering going for something TOTALLY different, but I am not sure. I am thinking of cutting it short. Tired of the current style....
