I really admire you all that do Zumba. For now its something I am afraid to do in front of others at the fear of looking totally ridiculous. Everyone tells me that its not that way when your there, you have fun but I can't seem to get my arse to believe it.
Maybe one day I will join in but for now, I will probably do my Zumba DVD at home.

yeah from where the instruments were....  I have a belly support belt for it.  I gained 12 lbs from the surgery....  I hope this is normal...  Other than the pain from the instruments, I feel fine.  Made a shake today.  out of 4 oz, I think I got down 1 oz down. 

 

 

it went well yesterday.  I slept almost all day yesterday.  Hardly slept lastnight,  they gave me new meds and i slept all day today.  

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sore it's not funny.  I got the drainage tube out today.  The sites look icky to me.

I can't wait for this pain to leave so I can do more moving around,.  How long will my belly be sore??

Hi Everyone,

Sure hope you can enjoy a part of this day outdoors, it is a bit cooler, but nice nonetheless. . .  I'm at work, trying to stay happy considering that I don't get to eat anything today, prepping for a colonoscopy, so broth, tea, juice and pops are all I'm allowed, now can someone tell me why they don't make pops without red, purple or orange?  I did see some boxes with green, but those had mostly the colors I could not eat and I just refused to buy them, cause they would go to waste and I also am limited in my freezer, sharing it as I do with two other people. . .  anyway, Tony told my roommates last night, that they might want to stay at a motel until after my test (lol). . .  he came down and we went to Longhorn where we shared the Porterhouse Steak dinner for two, so tomorrow after my procedure, I will enjoy some of the leftovers. . .lol.  I guess the positive about all this is that I will lose a couple of pounds for a day or so (lol). . .

Yup, I'm a food addict. . .


Work now, noontime AA meeting and home to drink the nasty stuff and let it do it's work. . . the fun parts of aging are all the tests we need to do periodically to make sure everything is working as it should and nothing is hiding where it should not be. . .

Hi Laureen and PA,
Late again.  My life has been chaotically busy, between doctors' visits, talking to my sponsee, and doing volunteer work.  I get on my laptop in the morning for a few minutes, and then don't sit near it till later in the evening.

I've been dealing with a sinus infection and earache for almost a week now.  Problem is, I have been on an antibiotic since Monday.  The sinus symptoms aren't improving, and the ear is still killing me.  Argh!!!  

Then I have to listen to Mom complain about all the allergy meds I take, in addition to the antibiotics.  All I say is, I like to breath, and not have asthma attacks all the time.  Then, she asks, what did people do before all this medicing?  My answer, their longevity rate was lower, because they died from the asthma.  She refused to accept that.  Then she says she worries about my sister and me.  I understand that since we buried both my brothers at young ages, she would worry more about the two of us.I just tell her to pray for us.

Laureen, I understand the bittersweetness of your grandson's birthday and your's Mom's passing being so close.  My daughter informed me that she was pregnant with Isabel, my first grandchild, after the viewing for my baby brother.  Normally, her in-laws and she keep that a secret till the end of the first trimester, especially since she had a miscarriage four months before.  She and her hubby made the exception in the hopes of lifting everyone's spirits as we buried my brother the next day.  Preparing for Isabel's arrival helped my family get through the roughest parts of the first year.  Plus, my older son got married when Isabel was only 6 weeks old.  There was a lot of joy to celebrate.

Enjoy your grandson's birthday.  I'm sure that is what your Mom would want you to do.
