Has anyone had surgery at Temple Hospital with Dr. John Meilahn?

HW: 370       CW: 319     GW: not sure yet

Started the process last year, thought I could do it on my own, reconsidering.

So over PCOS and IF.

both hubby and I had our surgeries @ Temple.  He @ Temple on Broad Street had a procedure done with Dr. Meilahan when his surgeon (Dr. Kowalski) was away on vacation - Dr. Meilahan is amazingly good doctor, knows his stuff.

A friend of our family did have his surgery with Dr. Meilahan - he loved the doc said he'd never had done this with any other doctor.

I had my surgery @ Jeanes with Dr. Dempsey and Dr. Patel.

Temple Bariatric takes great care of you both your pre and post surgery.  Since our surgeons have left Temple Dr. Meilahan has become our follow up doctor.

I had my surgery done with Dr. Meilahn. I found him to be abrupt as a first impression then was great after that. I had zero complications. I guess one thing I should have complained about was that post op at home, he only gave me Tylenol with codeine, but had no prob refilling it.

One of my co workers had her surgery about 2 years before me with Dr. M. She was his first ever leak and ended up in ICU but is fine now.

Good luck to you!

Thank you.

I met with Dr. Meilahn yesterday.  I am now waiting from my testing appointments to get set up.  I also stayed for the support group.  Now I have to decide which surgery I want.  I keep teetering between VGS and RNY.  This is harder than I thought.
