At 4 years, 9 months post-op, this is what will cross my plate today, perhaps a few tweaks will show up, but I am planning to eat on track. . .

B:  half a whole-wheat bagel with melted cheese

S:  Peach and  half cup of cottage cheese

L:  Romaine Lettuce, tomato, red onion, crumbles of blue cheese, bacon and pecans with Ken's Free raspberry dressing

S:  Blueberries/cherries

D:  Leftover chinese food from last night's dinner

S:  Watermelon, strawberries and blueberries (gotta love summer fruits)

Vitamins, calcium supplements and lots of water

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . .  It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . .  Laureen

Pledging to not eat beyond my full point today.

1 - 1/2 bagel with cream cheese
2 - 1/2 bagel with cream cheese
3 - salmon with veggies and rice
4 - skip
5 - going out for italian food.  Not sure what I'll get, but I'll be sure to bring lots of it home!
6 - corn flakes with strawberries and blueberries.

I don't know why, but my scale has been moving in a downward direction this week.  That feels really good.

Enjoy the downward. . .  I don't know why, but mine seems to stay in one general place and in the past two weeks, I must have walked 25 or more miles and even being on vacation, I ate mostly the way we are supposed to with three exceptions (Mallon's sticky bun, which I had one of over the course of 2 days and a crumb bun). . .

It's good you can treat yourself and not get sucked back into compulsively eating everything in sight.

I'd be a very happy camper if the number on the scale stayed right where it is at this moment.  I do tend to play with 5 pounds up and down, which could be water, I suppose.

Aah, but treating myself can only be done with some things, as I've learned there are others that trigger my compulsivity and so I have to avoid those things, mostly salty stuff.

As we well know the number on the scale (or in our closet) is not where we should place our happy, but if we were only so well (lol). . .

Hugs. . .
