VSG on 10/15/12

So I am having my first consult with Doctor Bonanni on June 28th. I was originally considering a sleeve but have changed my mind to have a DS.

Suggestions for questions? I am so anxious!

Anyone had experience with him or Abington?

I had Dr. Bonanni, he as well as his staff are wonderful. My experience went beyond my expectations. I know that everyone is different but I had NO complications whatsoever. I stayed overnight, the surgeon and his Pa's coming in frequently throughout the night to check on me. If you have any questions...ask away. I will send u my number.

You changed your mind to the switch. Well you will lose the weight faster that is the plus of the switch. I do know that the first part of the switch is the VSG. So still check in on the VSG board too so we can keep in touch. I know you will like Dr B. I was skepical too but not anymore after meeting him. :-)
I have a whole list of questions I typed out that I asked him on Thursday. I'll try to see if I saved it and I can message it too you some though may only have to do with the VSG.

I did. I think it will be better for me. I am checking all the boards so I can be well rounded and well informed.

If you have the list that would be great. I will at least get my brain going on what to ask.

I had Dr.Bonanni 3 1/2 yrs. ago. He is a wonderful doctor and a very caring and gentle man. I know other people that have had him and thought the world of him. I had RNY and I can't believe it's been this long are ready I thought my surgery would never come and here it is 31/2 years ago. I never regret having it done and I would go though with it again if I had to. Good Luck and you won't be sorry.
