VSG surgery w/ Dr. Fernando Bonanni or Dr G. with Abington Memorial hospital

VSG on 12/17/12

I'm interested in getting VSG in PA with a good VSG surgeon. I would be interested in talking to anyone via phone that had their VSG done by DR Bonnani or Dr G at Abington hospital. Please comment below if you don't mind talking to me and I'll private message you my phone number. Thanks!

This is not what you asked but I had Dr Noonan - she is with Abington and she did my VSG. I really liked her and she has done tons of VSG. Good luck.

OMG your my neighbor you live in Phoenixville!! I live right up 724 in Spring City! lol I've been looking for members in my own area it makes the support easier. We should get together sometime.
About Dr Noonan Obesity help under the status says she only did 9 VSG and has only been a bariatric surgeon not even a year. I am assuming this is inaccurate. Do you know her correct stats?
P.S, I met her at the info session about a month ago. lol I also went to the support group that Dr Bonnani did last night.

Dr Noonan did her rotation in WI - maybe those are her stats just at Abington? But when we talked she had done 70 - 80 as part of her residency. I really liked her. She was very personable and answered all of my questions. I also am a fan of recent education.

I was at the support group on Tuesday as well. That was the first time I had seen him. I thought his presentation was great!

VSG on 05/30/12

I am having a VSG with Dr Bonanni on the 30th. I think Dr Bonanni has the most expeeience in the group if I am correct. I can't wait two weeks from today I will post op day 1!!!! One of my girlfriends was self pay with him. If I can help let me know.

Jarabacoagirl - I am self pay at Abington too. I went to the information session last night and I am very excited about the process. I am also considering a VSG. I haven't picked the surgeon but I am leaning towarder Bonanni.
